Yes! Finally! I saved money!
Yes! I now saved more money and reduce 1 platform use.
I did used an Affiliate Link management platform a while back but my volume of usage isn't high enough to make it worth the money. And I did used bit.ly to track the affiliate links. But again, I stopped checking the trackings.
Then I saw some Affiliate Players that are bigger than me who has URL that is within their domain but when you click the URL, it goes to Amazon site with their affiliate id.
How I wish to have that too for my sites. Then, I suddenly stumbled into this video in the Rank Math Facebook Group:
That caught my attention and immediately jumped straight to work!
Rank Math Redirect
I knew the redirect existed and I used it to redirect the coming soon page to home page. But I didn't know it can be used for affiliate links like really?
Well, you learn something new everyday and today I did.
I opened my redirect tabs and start redirecting the amazon links (and other affiliate links).
if you don't mind, I hide some senstive bits
Life Changer!
I am filled with joy on this awesome new discovery!
Managing Affiliate Links within Wordpress and within 1 plugin that is doing the SEO?!
Who knew!
I'm so going to spend the next days and weeks updating all my affiliate links!
Also, I could track each links!
I know I could for redirect, but it just didn't occur to me it is useful for affiliate link tracking too (redirect link of course)

And I could categorize each affiliate links by categories.
So I can create a category for Amazon Links, Clickbank Link, and .etc.

The category option is only available in Pro version though
I used Rank Math for all my Wordpress Sites for SEO.
I was on the free version for years until recently I jumped to the 'why the hell not' Pro version.
I needed the option to add more keywords and used more than Schema. Only Pro version can do this.
Rank Math Free vs Pro
Yes, the Free version has the redirect setting so you can be in the Free Version to start and use.
The Pro Version however has;
- Redirect Category
You can categorize the affiliate links so you can make a category for just Amazon Links for example
- Affiliate Link Prefix
There is this fuction at the General Settings in Rank Math where you can set a prefix to indicate any link with this: /go/ (for example) is an affilaite link so it adds 'sponsor' for Google crawling purpose.
For the more beginner SEO and Affiliate player, the 'sponsor' remark on the link (in my own words), is to tell Google that this links are sponsored (or we call it affiliate) and reduce the risk of being penalize as spammy links.
- Import Export
You get to export this list of redirect links as spreadsheet and you can manage your links faster such as updating the destination link and changing status.
It's a great function to have once you playing with over 100 links to manage
Use Rank Math
I moved on from Yoast to Rank Math because of personal fustrations. So now I would like to recommend everyone to use Rank Math.
It is much more easier to use and faster to work with.

The Pro version really makes a difference once you start scaling up your SEO.
Also, the Pro Version is unlimiteted websites! That is right! Unlimited!

P.S, I may earn a commission when you join the Pro Plan when you click the Rank Math link.
This commission helps me fund my exploration buying courses and subscriptions on the internet... and share it back here on what I think about it and if it's a recommendation or not.
My vows
In the name of the Internet, I, The Missing Driver, take this Blog, to only share affiliate links to a product / courses / services that I find good and relevant, for better, for worse, to only help others for the greater good, till death do us part
Cant get any more honest than this right?
